If you prefer spending your weekend in harmony with nature, then you should visit the Alexandria dendrological park.
On 300 hectares in the White Church stretches a real paradise, where it is so calm and cozy.
Park Alexandria is among the top ten parks in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
In its territory there are more than 20 ponds, which are a single cascade system that merges with the river Ros.
The pond is inhabited by graceful swans and wild ducks watching which is a pleasure. Friendly guests are not afraid of visitors and with great pleasure accepting gifts.


Walking through the park you will see 400-year-old oaks, a tulip tree, a 130-year-old poplar, pines, a juniper virgin, etc. They rise majestically to the sky creating a magnificent panorama of the neighborhood. Special value in the Alexandria Dendrological Park is the amazing oak grove of the park, where rare species of trees and shrubs from different parts of the world are collected.
The record holder and the plant museum are rightly considered the Big Glade where 83 species of trees and 97 species of grasses grow on a small area, many of which are listed in the Red Book.

The eastern and northern parts of the arboretum are dominated by ash, hornbeam, linden and maple.

In the underbrush there are bushes: wild rose, barberry and wild cherry, black elder, European spindle, hazel, etc.
Among the grassy cover a special place is occupied by forest plant species: dark-witcher, geranium meadow, peach-berry calls, zelenchuk yellow, forest bogila, common snowdrop. In the central part of the park there is a unique collection of separate species: lilac, garden jasmine and hawthorn.

Alexandria Park is a favorite place for artists and photographers.
In their works, representatives of art often depict a unique landscape of the neighborhood.

A magnificent park ensemble harmoniously complements the exploration of architectural structures throughout its territory.
In the eastern part of the park there is a small pavilion with a semicircular arch "Rotonda".
The structure is decorated with interesting ornaments, which only emphasize its refinement. The architectural ensemble has 10.5 m of height and 9 meters of width.

In the Alexandria arboretum there is a very interesting architectural structure that deserves your attention, the Colonnade "Echo".
The building is made in Greek styles and very similar to the amphitheater.
The structure has a semicircular form of walls and 14 columns, which in turn form a magnificent gallery.

Favorite place in the park Alexandria for tourists, artists and photographers is the "Chinese bridge". Its unusual name was given to the architectural structure thanks to the gazebo, which in its turn was made in the Chinese style.
From the "Chinese Bridge" opens a magnificent panorama of the lake with a waterfall, where graceless swans swim carefree.
