There is nothing more beautiful to wake up among the Carpathian Mountains to the singing of birds and the rustle of leaves. It is so beautiful that sometimes there are no words to describe their emotions and the beauty of nature. Among the high mountains lurk many amazing places of the existence of which the majority of us do not even know. Tustan, a clear confirmation. Mighty rocks rise among high mountains recalling the former glory of brave heroes. Today, watching the three high cliffs near the village of Urich, it is difficult to realize that in the past they have wooden fortress. Scale Structures surprised many travelers. And not for nothing, analogues of similar structure was not in the world. According to reliable data, the height of the fortress was more than 90 meters, for comparison, a five-storey house. The main purpose of the complex consisted in the defense of the western borders of Russia and control passes through the region so-called Silk Road "Portugal-China." In fact, here we arranged the customs office through which merchants transporting salt by Carpathian passes from Drohobych. Fortress lasted until the middle of the XIII century, with the change of political situation the need for a line of defense and maintenance of customs point was irrelevant, Tustan fell into disrepair.
